WESTPAC BRAND REFRESH CONCEPTS
I worked with Principals on one route of a brand refresh project for Westpac Australia. The project was aimed at attracting a younger demographic (for whom Westpac is not currently a consideration when choosing a bank) while still appealing to the 35+ customer group and SMEs. We used the iconic logo and red brand colour with big, bold energy, exciting new type treatments and new photographic and illustration styles to really push the brand forward into an exciting and unique territory. Ultimately the client decided to go in a different direction and this concept was taken no further.
